Hallmarked in London in 1884 by Aldwinkle and Slater, this stylish, Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Cup, stands on ball feet, and features 3 loop handles and a gilt interior.
The cup in in the Industrialist style, and would make a handsome wine cooler, or could be used as a centrepiece for the table to hold a flower display.
The cup measures 6.5"(16.5cm) tall, by 8"(20cm) wide, by 8"(20cm) deep, and weighs 23 troy ounces.

The surface of the upper portion of each body is plain and embellished with two large applied tied oak leaf wreath cartouches, one side bears the contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms* depicting a pile engrailed with three cross-crosslet fitchy, all surmounted with the crest displaying a cock's head. The second cartouche on each holder bears the contemporary bright cut engraved presentation inscription 'Given to William Rigden, In Remembrance of William Galdork, by W.H.B'. These silver wine bottle holders each have an applied moulded decorated border to the flared rim.
