"Swedish Grace" Modernist Tage Gothlin Silver Cocktail Shaker

About the Item

For this elegant silver cocktail shaker known as Swedish Grace, Tage Gothlin took an Art Deco approach that works seamlessly with the high modernist trends of the time. The shaker is composed of a beautiful cylindrical can reminiscent of an early 20th century skyscraper, an intricate lid made of 4 little spheres, and a removable strainer. Traditional silverware lovers will also find pleasure in this piece that has a classical quality to its look. The shaker stands 24 cm tall with a 8cm diameter at the base. It is 8cm deep. It is very lightweight and fully usable as a cocktail shaker. It is in good condition, with minor marks consistent with a vintage object. It is stamped Tesi Tina & Silver AB at the bottom of the base.
