Very rare ceramic figurine around 1930: Young, graceful dancer in a butterfly costume, posing: her arms raised and her head tilted to the side, performing a slight turning movement, the fabric falling from her sleeves decorated in the style of a peacock's eye in red, blue and yellow. On a black, stepped and curved round base. Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892 - 1950), was an Austrian sculptor and ceramic modeler. His bronze statuettes often show graceful dancers with long legs and closed eyes. Lorenzl designed numerous ceramics for Friedrich Goldscheider and Keramos and was one of the most popular artists of Art Deco.
