Cadiz vase designed by Hjördis Oldfors for Upsala Ekeby in very fine condition. Sweden 1950, 1960. Height approximately 14 cm Hjördis Oldfors worked for Upsala-Ekeby in the years 1952-59 and designed many series and unique objects during his years with the company. jördis Hanna Maria Oldfors (born in 1920 - died in 2014) was a famous Swedish ceramist, painter and textile artist. Ms. Oldfors is known for many series she designed in Upsala Ekeby which have become classics. Oldfors is represented in a number of museums, including the National Museum (Sweden), the Röhsska Museum and the Nordenfjeldske Konstindustrimuseum.
