Darte Freres (?) - Cup and saucer, chinoiserie decoration, early 19th century

About the Item

Marvelous cup and saucer, elaborately decorated with geometrical forms in red, blue and gold. Beautifully worked gilding, little details of Chinese figures and Chinese characters. Possibly made Darte Frères factory, Paris, ca. 1815 No marking, but the model with the pearl rim and claw feet has been issued by Darte Freres. Amazing quality of painting Good condition, some wear to the gilding.
