Regency Period Derby Cup and Saucer Duo Hand Painted, Circa 1830

About the Item

This is a beautiful porcelain duo of a cup and saucer by the Derby factory, made during the late Georgian, Regency period of the first half of the 19th century, circa 1830 The hand decoration is exquisite, both pieces having intertwining red circles containing 4 blue dots, with superb gold gilded detail with star centres in gold to the base of the cup and the saucer. The cup is marked to the base with the red BLOOR Derby crown for the period. Overall a very beautiful example of Derby porcelain.
