About the Item
Royal Worcester porcelain pot pourri and cover, painted by Richard Sebright, and dated 1913. Finely painted with a detailed study of fruit amongst blossom and leaves, within an elaborate gilt scroll frame. All upon a cobalt blue ground, further enriched with high quality gilt floral scroll work.
The pierced cover, similarly decorated, and surmounted by a gilt tear drop finial.
Signed – R. Sebright.
Printed puce factory marks, date code for 1913, and Hadley shape number 291.
Height – 15.2 cm, 6”.
Diameter – 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
