19th Century French Terracotta Confit Pot
About the Item
A 19th century French earthenware confit pot with traditional green glaze and pale yellow interior. Some chips and losses to glaze. These ordinary earthenware vessels were once used daily in the French country home and have beautiful rustic glazes of yellow, green, ochre and terracotta. Nice decorative elements especially when several sizes and shapes are grouped together. Please refer to photos for more details. Circa 1880-1900.
