About the Item
c. 1930s Pottery covered soup tureen in burnt orange glaze by Ben Owen I. The tureen is nearly perfect but the lid has multiple rim losses. "Jugtown Ware", 1st stamped mark. Provenance: Katharine Reid, retired director of the Cleveland Museum of Art. 9 1/2" diameter, 5 7/8" height.
