Regency Carved Rosewood Tea Ploy

About the Item

Antique quality Regency carved rosewood tea ploy, circa 1830. A top quality piece in the manner of Gillows. A very rare find. Solid, no loose joints and no woodworm. Good size, color and proportions. Measures: 49cm W x 35cm D x 85cm H. Historic knocks, marks, cracks, distortion, wear, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with antique furniture. There is a chip missing from the internal lid of one tea caddy. No key and the lock is untested. Stock no. 4979.
