Stunning Boardman & Glossop Table Cruet, circa 1895

About the Item

A superb quality silver plated seven bottle cruet dating to the late Victorian era and dating to circa 1895. The panels to the front and back and the handle are all hand-pierced or reticulated, incorporating a variety of birds and a vacant shield shaped cartouche. The bottles are all original, beautifully cut: there are two salt shakers, two oil and vinegar bottles a mustard pot, a large pepperette and a cayenne pepper pot. The underside is fully marked for the well renowned silversmith, Boardman and Glossop of Sheffield and London. Excellent condition measuring 11 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" to top of handle.
