18th Century Philadelphia Sterling Silver Ladle
About the Item
18th century sterling silver large ladle stamped with a bird and what appears to be a WB on the back of the handle. The mark has been attributed to William Bartram, Philadelphia, 1760-1771. The handle has been engraved with what appears to be JPR or JRR. Bowl of ladle has definite signs of wear. Nice weight.
