English Sterling Silver Sherry Decanter Label, 1970s

Wonderful sterling silver sherry decanter label, decorated with a lovely lion and vine leaves with grapes. Measuring 5.25 cm / 2 inches by 4 cm / 1.5 inches, and weighing 10.5 grams. The label is stamped with a lion, a lion's head and the date letter r. This means that the label is sterling silver, was assayed in London, England, and is dated 1972. The makers mark is DJS. The label has scratching as expected. We have given it a light clean. This is a beautiful decorative English silver sherry decanter label from the 1970s.

    Wonderful antique Edwardian round bevelled edge table mirror, featuring classic sterling silver all over repousse decoration with flowers, leaves and scrolls.     Antique French silver plated serving condiment set. There is an ornate centre handle with two engraved condiment holders standing on feet. The glass bottles are shaped to fit the holders. Measuring width 16.5cm / 6.5 inches, height 24.8 cm / 9.7 inches, and depth 6.9 cm / 2.7 inches. The stoppers are not the originals, and are not matching.
