Goldsmith Cardeilhac - Covered Vegetable Dish In Solid Silver Mascaron Circa XIX

About the Item

Covered vegetable dish in 1st grade solid silver, round shape decorated with fleur-de-lys and applied spearhead, in the style of the Renaissance. The domed cove lid is surmounted by a chiseled applied terrace and an openwork fretelet. On each side of the vegetable dish, the winged handles are pierced and decorated with a mascaron. Dimensions: length at the handles 34.5 cm - Diameter 20.5 cm - height 13.5 cm approximately.
