Set of 10 Wallace Waltz of Spring Pattern Sterling Silver Salt Spoons or Dips

About the Item

A fine set of salt dips. By Wallace. In sterling silver. In the Waltz of Spring pattern. Each spoon was likely mounted as with a pin to the reverse. Often jeweler would mount these salt spoons as pins and give them as gifts to a bride or young woman starting their pattern. The pins have been removed making the spoons functional again. Marked to reverse for Wallace and sterling. Simply a wonderful group of salts! Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is Condition Details: There are scars, partly obliterated marks, and other traces of the pin removal to the reverse of each. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some light dings and indentations here and there, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
