About the Item

Oval covered tureen in solid silver, it rests on an oval bate with pinched ribs and surrounded by a gadroon. The belly and the lid are engraved with a Berain decoration on a matte background. the cove lid is surmounted by a grip formed by two acanthus leaves set with a gadroon. on either side are two roll-up handles.
