20th Century Italian Solid Silver Sugar Bowl
About the Item
The sugar bowl was made entirely by hand in hammered and shaped 800 silver in the late 18th century style.
The horizontal handles, embellished with a wood finish, were made with the fusion technique.
Even the 4 feet, which allow the stability and streamline the sugar bowl are also made with the fusion technique.
The knob is in precious wood with solid silver top.
This model of sugar bowl is typical of the Italian late 18th and early 19th century and was made at the end of the last century in Italy by the Rossi & Arcandi silverware factory - Vicenza - Italy for ARVAL ARGENTI VALENZA
Italian silverware, already with a centuries-old tradition, had a great development in the twentieth century and produced pieces of the highest quality that the whole world envies. Italian craftsmanship had a kind of new Renaissance after the war.
A great many high-quality silverware was born where exceptional pieces were produced that now decorate the most prestigious houses.
