    Circa 1950s, Sterling, by C.C. Hermann, Copenhagen, Denmark. Hand hammered, this fabulous covered tureen is an early example of the CC Hermann silversmithy (1949-1992). Displaying a serene form and generous size, it is both functional and decorative, perfect for an understated table setting. Very good condition, with a monogram on the underside noted.
