Negus Brass Ship's Binnacle on Mahogany Stand

About the Item

Late, 19th century ship's binnacle compass by Negus of New York. Turned, varnished mahogany Stand with brass hood stamped "Negus New York". Hood has side burners to illuminate compass inside. Compass can be viewed through the front glass window. Measures: 47" high x 17" wide x 15" deep. Top left sidelight is askew.
