8-Light Beaded-Crystal Balloon Chandelier, Circa:1900, Italy
About the Item
This whimsical inverted balloon fixture is an excellent example of a Neoclassical cage chandelier. While the original of the design was French, the intricate crystal bead work as well as the other ornament is the high quality work of Italian artisans. All the glass on this eight light fixture is lead crystal and the frame is hand-forged bronze. In the center of the cage is a beautiful hand blown spire mounted on a foliate detailed bronze plinth. This chandelier will be the center of attention in almost any room. Hanging hardware, ceiling cap, and one foot of chain included.
