Early 1900s Golden Brown Metal & Tiffany Glass Church Entrance Pendant Light
About the Item
Small church entrance light fixture with a cast iron tassel.
The former owners told us that this rare and all-original light fixture once was on the ceiling at the entrance of a small Gothic Revival church. The hook that connects the pendant and chain is a very subtle, Gothic Revival element (image 17). With the tassel historically being a symbol of power, we think that the cast iron tassel here represents the power of god. The original & marvelously colored Tiffany glass with its rippled, water-like surface perfectly matches the golden-brown metal frame and it makes this rare light an absolute joy to own and look at. Switched on, it radiates a beautiful warm light and thanks to the perfectly working hinges (as shown in image 13, 14 and 15), the bulb is easily replaced (also when hanging). This rare and striking little pendant is professionally rewired for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our sharp price even includes perfect packing and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days.
