Luna Rossa takes the the blood moon as its inspiration – a celestial event caused by lunar eclipse. How very like the earth to come between the sun and moon and cause such a mystery. Luna Rossa makes reference to the peculiarity of conflicts which characterise our current moment. There is mystery beauty in, and wounds arising from, dwelling in the contemporary.
