Oscar Torlasco ceiling lamp, Brass and metal

About the Item

Known for his lamps that diffuse soft light through optical glass lenses, Roman designer Oscar Torlasco (1934 - 2004) made a name for himself in the 1950s and 1960s by designing for a variety of Italian companies specializing in lighting, such as Esperia, Stilux, and Stilkronen. This 12-light chandelier is a mid-century style object, refined and elegant thanks to the highest quality workmanship and fine materials such as brass. This lampstand while being a decorative and classic object manages to adapt to contemporary environments due to its simple and minimalist shape. The object being original from the 1960s shows some signs of time as patina, but it has been cleaned to keep it of its original beauty. It is perfect if you are looking for a big ceiling lamp.
