Pair of Fedele Papagni Five Arm Articulating Pendants
About the Item
Spectacular pair of Italian chandeliers designed and executed by Maestro Fedele Papagni.
From a suspended central orb extend five multi-position adjustable arms with articulating shades.
Fedele Papagani's works exclusively in hand made limited editions from his workshop in Milan.
These two chandeliers are former showroom display models and have never been used.
Materials are of the finest quality plied by the talented hands of a master jeweler and goldsmith.
Mirror polished solid brass which additionally has been electroplated with brass over brass for an exceptionally rich and luxurious finish.
Spun aluminum shaped and perforated shades fire glazed in enamel colors: light blue, light green, bright yellow, white and cream.
Each cone is holds an E27 socket for a standard Edison lightbulb.
Total drop is 38 inches from ceiling to bottom finial.
Maximum diameter in 72 inches with arms places fully outstretched.
Each arm is 36 inches long.
Canopy dimensions are 3 inches high by 3 inches diameter. A 5 inch diameter round brass ceiling plate is provided with each chandelier.
Maestro Papagni's design is a clever and inventive homage to the No. 19 floor lamp by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce circa 1950 which itself never had a suspension version.
