Early 20th Century E.F.Caldwell Gilt Leafy Sconces with Alabaster Shade, a pair. Intensely Leafy cast gilt bronze sconce brackets, designed with an integrated narrow backplate. The arm of the sconce curves up to a matching leafy socket cover. Cup shaped alabaster sconces with a single cut band around the rim. Backplate fits on a switchplate box with a standard french bar (included). Signed Caldwell on the mounting bracket. American, C. 1910. Condition: Gilt bronze has been cleaned, retaining it’s aged patina. Alabaster shades are in good condition with no burn marks. Rewired for use in the US US 110-120V hardwired. Switch on socket.
