Pair of Neoclassical Cherub Sconces in Antique Brass w/ Smoked Amber Shades
About the Item
This exquisite Pair of Neoclassical Cherub Sconces in antique Brass W/Smoke Amber Shades originates from the Czech Republic during the latter half of the 20th Century. Featuring a lovely neoclassical sculpted figure of Winged Cherubs extending from the frame with their back foot pressing off as though weightless, and an arm extending to hold the ring from which expands a floral attachment housing the amber glass shades. These shades are beautifully rounded and provide an excellent contrast with the ornate detailing and density on the Backplates and sculptural elements of the sconces. In gleaming polished brass, these sconces are elegant and opulent. This pair will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Neoclassical to Art Deco and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition.
