About the Item
A fantastic postmodern 1980s “Cap” table lamp by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bilumen. A red baseball hat sits on a white globe shade, which in turn sits on the black base. On/off switch is a red plastic circle around the base that pivots when pressed to turn on and off the lamp. The baseball cap can be positioned in any way that a hat can be worn on a head to adjust the look of it and to control where the light is most strongly directed.
In very good vintage condition with original tag and signed “Bilumen Mod Cap” on underside.
Measures: 11” x 8” x 14”.
