Table lamp mod. Aella designed by Renato Toso and Giovanna Noti Massari in 1966.
Painted aluminium base, blown glass shade, large version.
Named after a mythological amazon, this important historical table lamp by Leucos fascinates with its essential yet sophisticated design. Aella means 'tornado' and, in fact, the softly and elegantly shaped blown glass diffuser seems to inspired by whirlwind.
This rare first production from the 1960s is in excellent condition, faultless as it has rarely been used, adjustable light intensity, working dimmer.
