Artemide Eco Table Lamp by Luciano Annichini C. 1970's
About the Item
The Eco ("echo" in Italian) table lamp designed by Luciano Annichini for Artemide in 1971. Composed of lacquered aluminum, the design allows the light source to be hidden and utilizes its reflection or ‘echo’ upon the interior walls of the lamp to cast it's glow.
Priced individually, 2 available.
Both lamps exhibit consistent wear throughout with excellent patina. The white enamel paint displays paint chips, flea bites and cracks in areas. All electrical has been updated: socket, cord, rocker switch and plug.Cord length is 8'. Standard E26 porcelain socket.

In collaboration with engineer and designer Sergio Mazza, who was born in Milan in 1931, Gismondi established Artemide with the vision of creating timeless and technologically innovative products. As the co-founders, they both played instrumental roles in shaping Artemide's evolving product lines over the following decades.
