About the Item
Rare clamp on orbiter desk, task lamp in the postmodern school, attributed to George Kovacs. The lamp features an arched vertical support that attaches to the straight counter balanced arm, with pivoting ball lamp head. The ached element mounts to the clamp on mechanism, the arm is adjustable vertically on the stationary clamp, and also pivots to position the counter balance arm. The counter balance arm tips up and down, while the ball head can be rotated into position. Ingenious, architectural design, sophisticated modern style , clean, original and working condition. Graphic black paint finish, shows minor cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age - Newly professionally rewired.
Arch arm 14 in. W x 33 in H x counterbalance arm 33 in. W x ball shade 5 in. diameter.
