About the Item
A fine pair of Chinese Export, 19th century porcelain bottle vases mounted with French ormolu as oil lamps. The well potted ovoid porcelain pear-shaped body decorated with hand-painted asymmetrical and floral designs in pale-green, red, light-blue and white, all surmounted with ormolu oil valve and scrolled side handles, the base raised on an ormolu plinth with peacock-tail design and cabriolet feet. (electrified). circa 1880
