About the Item
The 'Axis-Paris' lamp shown here is made of solid stainless steel and bronze. All metals are high polished to a mirrored finish. This lamp is also available in a floor lamp version. It is offered in other metals, finish variations. A standard linen shade is included with this fixture. The hardware is solid brass with a plated finish and comes with two standard medium sockets for the light source.
We use and encourage the use of LED bulbs on all of our lighting.

Anna Casotti IFDM The studio was founded by and features the work of artist and designer Vivian Carbonell. Vivian develops her pieces with an artists sensibility and works alongside local craftsman. Each handcrafted collection is comprised of original and limited edition lighting, furniture and accessories inspired by an emphasis on form as well as the core elements of each material chosen.
In addition to the integration of fine art and design practices the driving force of the work is striking the perfect balance between raw and refined material qualities. In the end these equilibria ensure each Carbonell Design Studio piece evokes both warmth and modern elegance stemming from a graceful synthesis of form,tone, balance and structure.
