The lamps hand-blow glass conveys a soft, opaline feel that enhances the meanders of the ceramic and the quality of the light the lamp gives off. Available in two sizes, the Neotenic lamp is a chunky piece that has entered Petite Friture’s playground of libre-garde collections.
Jumbo is a lighthearted design practice founded by old friends — Justin Donnelly and Monling Lee. Together, they produce objects and environments that are guided by an ongoing interest in reductivism and whimsy. The studio is a champion of “affective” design, focusing on forms, materials, and colors that delight.
