About the Item
Introducing the stunning Vintage Saturno Table Lamp by Kazuo Motozawa for Staff Leuchten, a true gem of the 1970's. The Saturno Collection was a recipient of the prestigious IF design award in 1972, and it's easy to see why. With a unique off white lackered metal shade featuring 12 round rings, this lamp stands at 22,5 cm tall, and is sure to make a statement in any space. It includes one standard socket for E27 bulb, providing ample lighting for the entire piece. And if you're looking for something truly special, this is the white color version - an incredibly rare find. Original producer tag.

Kazuo Motozawa was born in Saitama, near Tokyo, Japan in 1945. He graduated from the Musashino Junior College Craft and Industrial Design Department in 1968. After his studies he designed several lamps for Yamagiwa. From 1977 until 1985 he was the director of LD Yamagiwa Laboratory. In 1987 Motozawa established HALO Design Laboratory, Inc. Kazuo Motozawa exhibited frequently and achieved many awards.
