18th Century Large Italian Gilded Mirror
About the Item
Wonderful, important Baroque frame in wood gilded with pure gold.
Richly carved with acanthus leaf volutes, it represents in the highest degree the skill of Italian master carvers.
In particular, given the very high quality of the workmanship, we attribute this small masterpiece to Florentine craftsmen of the second half of the 1700s.
Original gilding and mirror.
This mirror, never before on the market, comes from a private collection and is beautified by an impressive antique frame in gilded wood, in almost perfect condition.
Every item of our Gallery, upon request, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Sabrina Egidi official Expert in Italian furniture for the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and for the Rome Civil Courts.
