American Federal Child's Trunk Leather Covered with Brass Tacks
About the Item
American federal child's trunk, black leather covering with natural colored leather bindings and brass tack decoration. This early trunk has remnants of its original blue colored paper liner with leaves, flowers and oddities painted or printed on it. The leather hinges have been replaced on the interior. Leather repair to one back corner. Circa 1800.
