Natural Elegance Luxurious Mountain Living Book by Rush Jenkins and Klaus Baer

About the Item

Natural Elegance Luxurious Mountain Living By: Rush Jenkins and Klaus Baer Photography by William Abranowicz Text by Nancy Greystone Natural Elegance showcases the award-winning interiors of WRJ Design, headquartered in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and led by Rush Jenkins and Klaus Baer. The firm’s homes are set against the back-drop of dramatic Western landscapes from the Rockies to the Pacific. Their interiors are infused with a unique elegance—one versed in the beauty of the wilderness combined with sophisticated contemporary design. Juxtaposing a warm palette with rugged elements, they create homes that have a deep connection to the natural world just outside the windows. Illustrated with photographs by the masterly William Abranowicz, the book features more than a dozen gloriously sited houses decorated in WRJ’s signature rustic yet refined style. Rush Jenkins, formerly Director of Design at Sotheby’s New York, and Klaus Baer, formerly head of international production teams for investment banking firms, relocated to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where they established WRJ Design. William Abranowicz has been a photographer for nearly forty years and his work has appeared in nearly every major publication in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His most recent book is Vendome’s American Originals: Creative Interiors. Nancy Greystone co-authored Barbara Barry’s Around Beauty and Tim Campbell’s Intentional Beauty. • Palm Beach Living Book by Jennifer Ash Rudick
    By Jennifer Ash
    Located in New York, NY
Palm Beach Living By: Jennifer Ash Rudick Photography by Nick Mele Explore the pleasures of life in the homes and gardens of the legendary tropical island of Palm Beach Could it be the subtropical climate and seaside breezes that have drawn multiple generations to Palm Beach for more than a century? Or does its timeless appeal lie in its unique mixture of charming bungalows, sleek minimalist houses, chic apartments, and iconic Mediterranean Revival residences by such legendary architects as Maurice Fatio and John Volk? Though the nation’s most exclusive barrier island is perennially thronged with visitors, few have seen the private homes and gardens showcased in Palm Beach Living. Some of the homes incorporate the exuberant colors of the island’s tropical flora; others opt for a soothing, more neutral palette to contrast with the surrounding landscape. All embrace indoor/outdoor living, and each reflects the singular aesthetic of the owner, realized with the help of renowned architects, including Fairfax & Sammons, Chris Stone and David Fox, Daniel Kahan, and Jeffrey W. Smith; superb landscape architects such as Mario Nievera, Jorge Sánchez...
