Small Decorative Carpenter's Sample Secretary, Sweden circa 1800's

About the Item

This unique small decorative item served as a "carpenter's sample" to share with customers prior to ordering a full size secretary. Note the size of 24" wide x 27" high. All the paint is original, from the brick red exterior to the soft blue interior which has all been gently distressed over the many generations. Restored, this unique decorative piece is reflective of Swedish country craftsmanship in the 1800's. All scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this delightful find.
