About the Item

Cubist Art Deco Bookends with Cats. These animal bookends have gold patinated metal – spelter cats mounted on marble bases. Both bookends with cat sculptures are signed by Franjou, also known als Hippolyte Moreau. These cat bookends are still in beautiful condition for the age.     Art Deco Bulldog Teapot. French Bulldog Teapot - Jug - Pitcher from the 1930s. A brown with dark brown French bulldog sculpture with a white and orange collar which has even the look of a badger collar. This Frenchie is sitting and has beautiful large brown eyes. Marked under: Germany 6535. This French Bulldog teapot is still in very beautiful condition. Only at the neck inside he does have a rip from beeing turned to tight - it's not a round opening so a paper thin chip has been glued there. The neck is still solid and when the stopper is on you do not see it.
