This is a vintage extending book slide. A Venetian, gilt finished tulipwood bookrest, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950. Delightfully presented book slide, with appealing finish Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order Gilt finished tulipwood, accentuated with blue painted detail Shaped ends adorned with decorative foliate relief Extends by 29cm (11.5'') to accept more books This is a charming vintage extending bookslide, with an attractive Venetian aesthetic.
