1900 Terrestrial Floor Globe

About the Item

Terrestrial floor globe with a large cartouche to the Pacific Ocean, supported in a graduated brass meridian with a mahogany horizon band with paper zodiac and calendar. Globe raised on a carved classical revival mahogany tripod stand with acanthus central support, paw feet and small casters, circa 1900. Heavy wear to globe, pictured. Dimensions: 46.5"H x 25"Dia.
