The desk is in mahogany veneer of very fine grain quality, the color of the mahogany is not dark but rather soft, in harmony with the slightly darker soft veining that embellishes this mahogany veneer. This desk is adorned with gilded bronzes depicting busts of Egyptian women, leafy motifs such as palmettes and laurel wreaths, diamonds. All the bronzes are original, none of them are added.
