Large Vintage Artist's Painter's Easel
About the Item
A vintage Spanish artist painter's easel made of solid beechwood with large vice and cast iron wheel mechanism with black handled crank. Grand in scale, this easel is perfect for the display of large paintings. A deep ledge at the bottom and an adjustable clamp at the top securely holds the painting in place with the option of tilting the canvas forward. Very sturdy base with original castors. Maker's label on front: Taker Barcelona, Espana. In good condition with some old paint residue. Circa 1950-1970.
Overall adjustable height from 91"-128. Holds paintings up to 77" tall.
