1960s Arthur Umanoff Cane Wrapped Iron Magazine Holder in a Salmon Lacquer

1960s welded cane wrapped iron magazine holder painted in a salmon lacquer. Double arched form with cross bars running within the arch resting on a round base. Arthur Umanoff was a New York designer in the early 1950s into the 1960s who had a fondness of the use for cane wrapped iron in his designs.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. This is a all original example, there is a softness to the paint from over the years with some losses to the finish, the cane is in good condition with no breaks.
