Mid-century Scandinavian Modern hand knotted wool area rug by Astrid Sampe for Tabergs, Sweden circa 1970s. Reversible design. Warm chocolate browns and creamy whites with hints of oranges and black. This rug is NOS (New Old Stock). It has never been used, sold or even walked on. Purchased as inventory by a prominent rug dealer in Boston in the late 70's who passed away shortly after. Kept in climate controlled storage ever since. Excellent, new condition, no issues whatsoever. A rare find, indeed!! Measures: 93" x 67".
