Large Early Panel Back Oak Settle
About the Item
A large early English bog oak paneled back settle, circa 1680. Of generous proportions, with a series of railed panels on back and carved elements above, shaped downward sloping arms and boarded seat with carved apron supported on front and side stretchers joined to seat by turned supports. Wonderful patination and polished surface from centuries of use.
