White 111 Wink Chaise Longue by Toshiyuki Kita for Cassina

About the Item

Wonderful chaise lounge designed by Toshiyuki Kita for the prestigious Italian manufacturer Cassina Italia in the 80's. Extraordinary design by Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita. The chaise lounge can be converted from armchair to lounge chair, thanks to the metal mechanism. The peculiarity lies in its adorable folding Mickey Mouse ears. The chaise lounge is made with a tubular steel frame and a very elegant white velvet-like upholstery. Moreover, by opening it, you can enjoy a relaxing seat that envelops and attracts you to it. It has been exhibited at MoMA in New York and has attracted the attention of many museums, such as Vitra Design Museum. The chaise lounge by Toshiyuki Kita is suitable for furnishing elegant rooms, even on its own it creates ambiance and is great for being a unique design piece.
