A Danish design classic originally conceived in 1962 that hardly needs introduction. One of the most sought after dining chair designs. The highest quality materials exhibiting sublime construction and craftsmanship honed into the most graceful and elegant design. This is a true set, not a piecemeal collection of individual chairs thrown together to form a set as is often seen these days. Each chair with wonderful colour to the solid rosewood timber with very lively grain patterns. All chairs are offered in excellent condition, no issues or problems. The paperboard woven seats are all in excellent condition. Nicely aged, no obvious stains. No issues or problems. Stamped to the underside with the Makers mark and quality control branding.

Dining chair : Model 83 Set off five rare Niels O. Møller rosewood dining Chairs Model 83. Made in Denmark in the 1960s. These beautifully shaped chairs are manufactured by J.L. Møller Mobelfabrik. They are made of solid rosewood and have a great design for the backrest. All chairs are marked with the Moller stamp on the underside of the seat. Kvadrat : Raas We have had these beautiful chairs professionally reupholstered. The interior of these chairs has been completely renewed. With jute webbing, 2 cm thick polyether and covered with 100 grams Dacron. The chosen fabric is Raas van Kvadrat color 0142. The fabric is made of 92% wool and 8% nylon. Martindale is 100,000. Raas from Kvadrat is a luxurious design furniture fabric with the properties of bouclé and the appearance of an airy linen fabric. For the colors of the Raas, the designers Doshi & Levien found their inspiration in China. Where their attention was drawn to the colourful, glazed Chinese pottery and the use of color in the historical miniature painting from India...
