Two Mid-Century Modern Teak Armchairs by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn, 1950s

About the Item

Dimensions: 64 x 70 x 100 x 44 cm (Width x Depth x Height x Seat Height) Elegant and very rare armchairs from the 400 series by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn, Germany, one of the most refined series of the Mid Century Modern Era in Germany. These dining chairs come in dark African teak wood and deep blue woolen felt fabric produced by the Danish premium manufacturer Kvadrat. The chairs have been newly upholstered and have with a new new foam coat. The wooden components are sturdy, showing only a few traces in the form of small scratches and bumps that do not diminish the high-quality character of these unique pieces.
