VERSILIO dining chair
About the Item
The VERSILIO chair was designed, as with all our pieces, out of a need - more specifically, for the studio kitchen of OLDER. Our beloved Aalto “45” chairs had started to fall apart due to old age and we could not find a replacement for the studio kitchen - in came the idea to make this chair.
It’s curved and bended shapes originates from where it was geographically developed and designed, in Versilia, Tuscany, located between the Apuan Alps and Mediterranean sea. The chair consists of 7 equally curved legs and armleans mimicking the same “wave” shape - when placed parallel next to each other, they make 1 wave. A hand-woven seat, slightly over-proportioned with a soft curved backlean to create comfort when leaning.
